The Texas Conference of Churches is an ecumenical partnership of Anglican, Orthodox, Protestant, and Roman Catholic churches in Texas. The organization was created in Austin on February 24, 1969, following the dissolution of the Texas Council of Churches. As part of its charter the conference vowed opposition to discrimination based upon race, color, national origin, or sex.
